The payment story in Belgium is quickly told: the stake goes in through Bancontact, card or app, and what comes out lands on your account. Since March 2026 the Payconiq by Bancontact app is officially called Bancontact Pay.
Bancontact Pay limits to €1500 per operation and €2500 per 24 hours. A deposit shows up immediately; the way back usually costs one to three banking days, on top of the processing time on the operator's side.
